I am starting lab 2 over from scratch.... Could someone post their /etc/fstab? I don't know what to do with the
UUID=gobble-de-gook /boot ...
line. And does "change root to pen drive" mean
/dev/sdb1 / ... ?

the directions there are exactly the same. The screenshot says "vi fstab" but there is no record of what goes on there.
Anyone else have an fstab to share?

Your can do this in one of two ways.
one make lable for /boot
or
/dev/sda1 this would be the parition where boot would live
