How do you want the trouble lab to written out?

Do you want to know what problem was? Where did I go to fix the issue, and how the issue was fixed?

I'd like the following:

* Problem number (boot or root + number)
* Brief description of the problem
* Exactly what you did to repair the problem. Include commands used and files edited.

Note: The description should include the symptoms and the root cause of the problem.

Example:

Boot Problem #1
Problem: The boot failed with a black screen and "Operating System not found" message because the partition table had no active partition.
Fix: Boot the system from a rescue diskette, run fdisk and make the first partition active.

Boot problem #2
...
