is the art of configuring a console e-mail client to download email from a web-based mail server.

How hard is it, really? I completed the 192 Linux Networking classes here already, but this e-mail thing?

Maybe in 191B I'll tackle this as an individual project, or maybe there's something I can do during configuration on my own.

What I'd really like is a my thumbdrive running it's own internet stuff and an e-mail client (console client) installed that downloads my webmail, and lets me send it too.

All the mail clients I kn ow of are ridiculously complex ( I think that this may be becuse they are a traditional target for the most sociopathic hackers.)If you find an easy way to do it I would love to hear. -P
