Lab 9 Preconfiguration

Postby Hilde Bell on Tue Dec 02, 2008 10:00 am

Hello,

I have the same issue as before. Do I need to do labs 6 and 7 to be able to complete lab 9?
I just made an account for gimli with a password (gimli1) and created the partition and filesystem.

I don't know as I did it with the Lab 6 and 7 changes. Let me know how it goes.

You may be OK because I modified the earlier lab to use a second drive instead of an additional partition. This would remove the dependencies on how the first drive was partitioned.

I was curious about that as well, although I was also wondering whether the computers at school had the previous labs still on them or not.
