Posted: Sun Apr 26, 2009 5:47 pmMetacharacter, wildcard, filename expansion characters...we all know some of them like * [ ] ?? # The shell interprets them in a 'special' way....... are they ever interpreted, or would they ever be considered as an argument or option by the shell? I think not, but could not find anything to validate my assumption.
