I registered on the MSDN and it accepted my student id. I havedon't know which user name to use. No email has arrived. How do I actually Log In?

It should be your email address. The student ID is only used when registering. After that you use your email address and the password you entered during registration.

Remember the software should be installed before the end of classes.

It used to be the time limit applied to the activation only. I don't believe there is a time limit on how long the software will run. If you have the space I recommend installing the software now to be on the safe side.
