Samba integrated into Ubuntu 8.04

Hi folks,

I've tested out the Samba installation on Ubuntu 8 and it works very well. Samba is integrated into the Ubuntu interface. I only had to modify the smb.conf file to change the workgroup.

I would highly recommend this method of installing and configuring Samba and Samba shares.
