Hello 192! This message is from Larry Cafiero, from the Felton-LUG :)

Hi, all --

This came up earlier, I think, but this Unix "event" where the time, in Unix, will be 1234567890 on Friday. There are some events around this at this site

http://www.1234567890day.com/

Bob Lewis, our Unix guy, can probably explain this better than I can (Bob, feel free to jump in here).

I was just wondering if we should have some sort of observation Friday . . . .

Maybe a contest:

Open one terminal and run
date -j -f "%a %b %d %T %Z %Y" "`date`" "+%s"
Whoever gets closest to 1234567890 gets a cookie.

Post screenshots of course.
No cheating. :?
