Lab 3 question

Is anyone else having a problem getting the 2 Rivendell sides of the routers to communicate?

I followed the directions to the letter and went back and triple checked everything and I still can't ping from the two routers.

I had the same issues to between Elrond and Arwen. I switched to Elrond and Legolas and everything worked out fine.

Check the physical layer - cabling.

Elrond's eth1 and Legolas's eth0 just happen to be cabled to the same VMnet. If you select different routers you must check the cabling and modify as appropriate.
