"Microsoft, Red Hat virtually partners"
by Elizabeth Montalbano, IDG News Service

On 02/16/09, while most people were on holiday, Microsoft and Red Hat struck a deal.

Microsoft agreed to offer customer support for RHEL 5.2 and 5.3 guests running on all editions of Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V and Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008.

Red Hat agreed to offer customer support for Windows Server 2003 SP2, Windows 2000 Server SP4 and Windows Server 2008 running on Red Hat Enterprise "virtualization technologies".
