One option you have is to temporarily join Arwen and Legolas to the lab network for any yum installations you need to do. Check the Appendix of the lab if you haven't already.

I think you could also temporarily put in static routes between Arwen/Legolas and Elrond, so that you could do the yum installs and then remove the routes. If you didn't want to recable or modify your configuration files.
