Demo of AMD's Live Migration technology running VMWare ESX

Here's a link to a live demo of AMD's Live Migaration platform which allows virtual machines to be migrated from one system to another while running:

I saw a demo of this technology a couple of months ago with virtually zero wait state between VM migration. This demo shows a sizable wait state, but still an amazing accomplishment considering that the VM has to be migrated on the fly, and the virtual network updated transparently.

This is a concrete example of how visualization and virtual networks will shape the future of data center reliability and manageability.
