Ok. I was able to change .bashrc file. Like Marcus, I am unclear on how to replace the PATH environment variable. I did the birthday but when I exported it I did something wrong as now I have nothing in my .bash_profile. Also, when I log back into opus, I immediately get the following prombt: -bash-3.2$
and I do not the the term=xterm
I am totally lost with all this.
