I finished grading Lab 1. Here are the answers to the questions that were asked:

Everyone got 7 and 12 correct Questions 6 and 8 had the most incorrect answers which related to the name of the local computer. Always use the hostname command to determine the name of the computer you are currently working on. The uname command tells you the name of the UNIX operating system running e.g. Linux. The id command tells you tells you the uid (user id number) and username you are logged in as e.g. uid=503(guest90).
I've posted the grades on the web site using the secret Lord of the Rings character names. I'll be giving you your secret character names at our next class.
